Developer Everbyte initially launched their interactive detective thriller last year and it has only grown in popularity since, reaching 3 million downloads across both iOS and Android. This is largely thanks to Everbyte regularly releasing new story chapters and their latest update introduces Episode 5.

In the new episode, players will continue their investigation into the disappearance of local teenager Hannah. They can expect to make more decisions that will change the story alongside multimedia files to search through, map spots to visit and custom messenger themes to use. You can check out a teaser for the latest chapter in the embedded video below.

The community as a whole were concerned that Episode 5 of Duskwood would be the last instalment for the game. Despite wanting to get the bottom of the mystery it's always a shame to see something you enjoy come to an end. However, those worried that the journey would wrap up here will be pleased to know that there will be a least two more episodes.

Elsewhere, the game will also receive a quality of life update in the coming days that has been highly requested by the player base. This change will add cloud updates to Duskwood, allowing players to move their progress across multiple devices. This will be done through Game Center on iOS and Google Play Service on Android.

If you're unfamiliar with Duskwood, now is a great time to jump since there are five episodes to play through. Fans of the 'found phone' genre will feel at home as you search through images, texts and voicemails to discern what happened to Hannah. You'll also have to make plenty of choices that are influenced by your investigation.

Duskwood is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
