More Halloween Tour details have been announced for Mario Kart Tour

Following the reveal of King Boo and Waluigi recently, we've now been given the full details for Mario Kart Tour's upcoming Halloween event. The new tour which brings new characters, courses and other MKT affiliated stuff will be live today at 11:00 pm PT or your regional equivalent.

In terms of new racers Luigi, Waluigi, King Boo and Baby Luigi will be heading to the game. None of these characters is going to be Tour exclusives, which means even after the Halloween event has ended, you'll still be able to get them from the gacha pipes.

There will be a limited-time character though. During the event, a Halloween version of Rosalina can be obtained through the Halloween Tour pipe. If you manage to get her, you'll be able to make use of her special item Dash Ring, which will help you nip by your opponents.

There's also a special version of King Boo during the event period as well. This is based on his appearance from Luigi's Mansion. His special ability allows him to use the bob-omb cannon so you can reign down bombs on your foes.

You'll also be able to get some spooky-themed karts and gliders. These include pumpkin-themed and coffin-centric cars whilst the gliders will be bat wings and dark clouds to float around with. There's also several characters and karts on offer depending on the stars you obtain during the tour, including Bowser and Peachette.

As for course, we knew already that we'd be racing around Luigi's Mansion and Waluigi's Pinball courses. Joining those two courses will be Ghost Valley, which dates back to Super Mario Kart. Time Trials will also be added to the game alongside the Halloween update.

Mario Kart Tour is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
