In celebration of the forthcoming World Cup, OrangePixel has released a "summer freebie" on Android called Tapkick 2014.

The challenge is to keep a football up in the air for as long as you can. You have to tap the screen when the ball passes between two lines to knock it up.

If you get the timing wrong and miss, the ball drops to the ground and your score is added to the leaderboards.

You'll notice that the lines are very close together, giving you hardly any room for error - expect lots of frustration. But hey, no one ever said beating your friends at anything would be easy.

As mentioned last week, OrangePixel is currently working on Gunslugs 2. It's bigger and meaner than the first one.

You can download Tapkick 2014 on Google Play for free right now.
