Mount & Blade: Warband is stomping its digital hooves all over Tegra 4-powered Android devices
And over Nvidia Shield
The clash of steel. The stomp of hooves. The thud of shields. The cheers of bearded victorious men waving their arms over the corpses of vanquished foes.
If you've got an Nvidia Shield or a Tegra 4-powered Android device (and a gamepad that works with it), these sounds could all be yours, courtesy of Mount & Blade: Warband.
That's right - you can now play this chaotic open-world action-RPG on something you carry around in your pocket. Or in a small shoulder bag.
This is a full port of the PC original, by the way, so there's a massive single-player campaign for you to trot and canter through, hacking other people to bits on horseback and on foot.
On top of that, there are the multiplayer modes, which enable up to 64 people to charge into battle swinging sharp things and shouting war cries.
Plus, there are straight-up deathmatches and more complex modes like Siege and Conquest into which to sink your big horsey gnashers.
Mount & Blade: Warband is on sale at the moment in celebration of its launch. This means you can grab it now for £4.49 / $6.99 for a limited time.
Just bear in mind you're going to need an Android device with a Tegra 4 processor and a compatible gamepad to play the game.
