iOS and Android Game of the Week - your vote needed
|

Every week, thousands of new games hit the iOS App Store and Google Play on Android. Trying to find the diamonds in the rough is no easy task, let us assure you.

We like to think we do a pretty good job with our news articles, mid-week round-ups, expert reviews, and comprehensive features, mind.

But, now we want to know what YOU think.

Today, we're going to ask you to pick the best game that was released on iOS and Android from the past week (from the nominations below), and then we'll announce the winner in a glamorous article next Monday.

There are loads of places to vote. Leave a comment at the bottom of this article; reply to our Game of the Week tweet; answer the poll on Facebook; or write your nomination on a piece of paper and slip it through your neighbour's letterbox.

The nominations
Bridgy Jones (iPhone, iPad) A physics-based bridge builder that manages to be fun, humorous, and varied. Wonders never cease.
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers (iPhone, iPad) The return of one of the best tower defence games on iOS. It seems to offer more of the same, which in this case comes as an almighty relief.
Scurvy Scallywags (iPhone, iPad) Yes, it's a match-three puzzler, but Scurvy Scallywags comes from the mind of Ron "Mr Monkey Island" Gilbert, so it's all funny and quirky and charming.
I, Gladiator (iPhone, iPad) A highly accomplished action-RPG that plays a bit like a free-roaming Infinity Blade, but with more IAPs.
Zombie Derby (Android) In our Zombie Game of the Week award winner (we might actually need one of those awards soon), you run over the undead and pull off unlikely stunts in a tricked-out jeep.
