Mid-week iOS releases: Nutty Fluffies, iBomber Attack, Madden NFL 13 Social, and more

Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad mid-week releases.

As you all probably know by now, we produce this article each week because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new game that hits the App Store.

Arc Squadron, much like Nintendo's StarFox, is a frantic shoot-'em-up set in the far reaches of space.

In Psyonix's new shooter, you're tasked with taking down an evil race known as the Guardians, who're ravaging planets and killing all peaceful life forms.

You have six upgradable ships at your disposal, and ten upgradable weapons. What a nice arsenal.

Your mission in Coin Army is simply to survive. You're up against waves of tanks, catapults, fighter jets, and all you have to defend yourself with is coins.

Yeah, ruddy coins! To be fair, you do also have shields. And, well, meteors, death rays, nukes, and even UFOs. Enough?

Nutty Fluffies

Nutty Fluffies is a physics-based platformer in which you control a fast-moving roller coaster that's packed with stuffed animals.

The loot you pick up as you speed through the game's 26 levels can be spent on newer coasters, which will help you achieve a higher score.

Gamevil's latest release is another of those Pokemon-esque collect-'em-ups in which you capture monsters and unleash them in fierce battles.

There are hundreds of different monsters to grab in this title - all of which are assigned one of five different elements (fire, water, wind, earth, and darkness). You can combine your critters to make an extra-powerful team.

Cobra Mobile's iBomber series has returned. This time around, you have to fight your way through 24 Europe-based missions.

Your missions involve blowing up naval dockyards, destroying airfields, and wiping out secret bases, as well as the soldiers that reside inside them.

According to its App Store description, Madden NFL 13 Social offers you the chance to get your mitts on the "complete Madden experience for free".

Why the "Social" moniker, then? Well, this latest Madden release lets you compete in multiple simultaneous matches against your Facebook buddies.

This is a side-srolling run-'em-up in which you must help Sneezeman run, jump, and float his way to the end of 60 frantic levels.

You'll have to help him outwit several enemy types along the way, and ensure that he stays one step ahead of the pesky sneeze cloud that's pursuing him.

Your aim in Sci-Fi Heroes is to construct a team of battle-hardened warriors and specialists. Oh, and then restore peace to the galaxy.

Recruits fall into several different categories, including Space Marine, Animal Trainer, Space Cowboy, Priest, Id Master, Exxo, Healbot, and Technomancer.

Heads Up! Hot Dogs is a "hot-dog-head-balancing game". Hey, it's an Adult Swim game - did you really expect something that isn't completely bonkers?

You have to balance hot dogs on people's heads and unlock Game Center achievements along the way. I don't know what else to say, really.
