Every week, thousands of new games hit the iOS App Store and Google Play on Android. Trying to find the diamonds in the rough is no easy task, let us assure you.

We like to think we do a pretty good job with our news articles, mid-week round-ups, expert reviews, and comprehensive features, mind.

But, now we want to know what YOU think.

Every Thursday, we're going to ask you to pick the best game that was released on iOS and Android that week (from the nominations below), and then we'll present that winner in a glamorous article on the Friday.

There are loads of places to vote. Leave a comment at the bottom of this article, reply to our Game of the Week tweet, answer the poll on Facebook, or come and visit Pocket Gamer Towers and shout the name of your favourite game into our faces.

devilsattorney Devil's Attorney (iPhone, iPad) A funny turn-based role playing game, hidden under the guise of an '80s-style TV law show.
wildblood Wild Blood (Android) Gameloft brings its gory Unreal Engine-powered hack 'n' slasher to Android. Expect a bloody twist on the King Arthur legend.
realfootball Real Football 2013 (iPhone, iPad) Is this freemium football sim any match for last month's FIFA? Gameloft's comeback kid has a managerial focus, as you lead one superstar team to victory.
chaosrings Chaos Rings (Android) Square Enix, now, finally choosing to grace Google Play with its much-loved RPG epic. Expect scary beasties, turn-based battles, unintelligible plot lines, and a hefty price tag.
lexatron Lexatron (iPhone, iPad) In Lexatron, two players lay down word tiles in a frantic race to the finish. Devious strategy and lots of four-letter words ensue.
crazytaxi Crazy Taxi (iPhone, iPad) Dreamcast cabby-sim Crazy Taxi returns, and it's got the right music this time. You'll speed around town, picking up pedestrians and delivering them to their destination.
polara Polara (iPhone, iPad) It's Outland the auto-runner. By swapping from red to blue, Lara can pass through lasers of the same colour. As the pace ramps up, this becomes one tricky, tricky game.
girlslikerobots Girls like Robots (iPhone, iPad) A seating arrangement puzzler from Adult Swim, in which you have to plop down girls, robots, nerds, and pie so that everyone is happy with his or her position.
deathdome Death Dome (iPhone, iPad, Android) We described this Glu game as Borderlands meets Infinity Blade. Which means you'll be bashing the bejesus out of bad guys in a lawless, post-apocalyptic world.
ivykiwi Ivy the Kiwi? (iPhone, iPad) If you didn't play this cutesy platformer on DS, now might be the time to do so. It comes from Prope, the studio started by Sonic The Hedgehog creator Yuji Naka.
