GREE continues to build support for its social gaming platform, with the Japanese firm announcing the acquisition of Korean outift Paprika Lab for an undisclosed fee.

The studio – which has worked with GREE in the past – is best known for Facebook game HeroCity, which boasts 150 million monthly active users.

Paprika Lab's games are now set to be deployed across GREE's social gaming platform – which recently rolled out globally in beta form – adding to its growing library of releases.

Indeed, GREE has signed numerous deals with developers and publishers alike in recent months in a bid to bring fresh games to its platform.

The firm also aquired social studio Funzio for $210 million back in May, and has launched its first development house in San Francisco specially designed to deliver titles to appeal to western audiences.
