FlickPig
By Prope - download for iPhone and iPad

FlickPig is a colourful fast-pased puzzler from developer Prope - a new studio set up by Sonic The Hedgehog lead programmer Yuji Naka.

Your aim is to help three piggy banks - who run aimlessly down three lanes - reclaim their stolen coins from a pack of thieving wolves, by flicking them out of the way of walls, crates, and other obstacles.

FlickPig features support for Apple's Game Center, which means you can unlock achievements and earn a place on various leaderboards as you play.

Poker Pals
By Chillingo - download for iPhone

Poker Pals, which managed to nab a Pocket Gamer Silver Award at review, cleverly blends elements of poker and Scrabble together.

Basically, you have to asynchronously lay down playing cards on a 7x7 grid, with the aim of constructing different poker hands.

Poker Pals allows you to compete against all of your iPhone-, iPod touch-, and iPad-owning buddies. And if you own all three devices, Apple's iCloud service will seamlessly sync your data between all of them.
