It's impossible to talk about classic point-and-click adventures without mentioning the Broken Sword franchise, which is packed full of humour, intrigue, interesting characters, and some great puzzles.

The Silver Award-winning Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror: Remastered takes the series's excellent second entry and introduces some nifty new features, like touch controls, an interactive comic, and an all-new hint system.

It may have hit the App Store all the way back in 2009, but the Zelda-esque, Silver Award-winning Zenonia is still one of the best iPhone action-RPGs out there.

You begin the game by choosing one of three different character classes - Warrior, Paladin, and Assassin - before setting off on a monster-packed adventure. There are numerous weapons and armours to collect as you progress through the game, plus plenty of opportunities to boost your protagonist's stats.

Much like the first title in the series (see above), Zenonia 2 charges you with exploring a vast world, nabbing various items and weapons, slaying foes, and completing quests.

This time around, though, there are new character classes to choose from: Paladin, Shooter, Magician, and Warrior. There's also an asynchronous online PvP arena that allows you to beat up your buddies.
