Nintendo has partnered with pan-European TV network Eurosport to deliver a dedicated Eurosport video player on the Nintendo 3DS.

Available in the eShop as of right now, this free Eurosport app serves as the portal through which carefully selected 3D sports content from Eurosport’s WATTS programme will be delivered.

Starting today, a new two to three-minute long video - taking a sideways look at the world of sport - will be made available in the 3DS Eurosport video player every week for the following 12 months.

"We are always striving to bring fun and exciting new content to our fans and this new partnership with Eurosport will do just that," Nintendo Europe managing director of marketing and PR Laurent Fischer said.

This Eurosport collaboration follows a series of tie-in deals Nintendo has made with Red Bull Media House, Berliner Philharmoniker Orchestra, and Aardman Animations to provide the 3DS with more video content.
