iPhone 4S's battery woes may be down to location services bug
|

iDownloadBlog has suggested that the iPhone 4S's recent battery woes could be due to a small iOS 5 bug that keeps your phone's 'Setting Time Zone' location service constantly switched on.

The blog has tested this theory on four iPhone 4Ss, an iPhone 4, and an iPhone 3GS, with all devices showing a "drastically improved battery life" upon switching the service off.

How do you do that?

Simply head on over to your iPhone's Settings and access the Location Services area. Next, tap on the System Services tab and toggle the Setting Time Zone switch to off.

Unfortunately, your iPhone will now no longer update your time zone automatically, but it's a small price to pay for some extra juice.
