Available from September 18th
US operator AT&T has announced that it plans to sell a 4G-capable Xperia Play for $49.99 to customers signing up for a two-year contract.
The handset, which comes in a limited edition 'stealth blue' skin, also ships with a couple of bonus accessories, including the Sony Ericsson Multimedia Dock that charges the phone and converts the screen into a large clock display.
The package also includes a music cable, allowing you to connect to any external speakers you might already own.
The phone comes with seven games pre-installed: Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave, Asphalt 6 Adrenaline, Star Battalion, Madden NFL 11, The Sims 3, Tower Bloxx: My City, and the PlayStation classic Crash Bandicoot.
The offer starts from September 18th in AT&T stores and online. The two-year agreement also has to include a minimum $15 per month data plan on top of the voice plan to cover the internet.
