Tracy Erickson, Pocket Gamer's US correspondent and Apple editor, is moving on from the site at the end of this month to pursue another opportunity in the video games industry.

Tracy has been with Pocket Gamer since 2007, when he started contributing handheld reviews from his exotic North American base. He later took on the role of Apple editor, and has developed a reputation in the industry as an authority on the exciting, dynamic, and still-growing world of iOS gaming and hardware.

He said, "My time with Pocket Gamer has been unforgettable," he said. "I'm extremely proud of the work we've done in the past four years and am able to move on safe in the knowledge that Pocket Gamer is in a position to continue leading the discussion on mobile gaming."

"I'll always be grateful for the opportunity to have helped shaped the business and look forward to relying on Pocket Gamer as a trusted source of information as I take a new role with the developer relations team at Unity Technologies."

Pocket Gamer editor Rob Hearn said, “Tracy's diligent and judicious work clearing an editorial path through the jungle of the App Store has helped to make Pocket Gamer a definitive voice in iOS gaming.”

He added, “The team at Pocket Gamer would like to thank Tracy for all his efforts over the last few years and wish him all the best in his new post and beyond.”

Stay tuned for an announcement about his extremely capable replacement next week.
