3DS Virtual Console will have Game Gear and TurboGraphx-16 titles
Plenty of old school gaming guaranteed
During the Nintendo keynote at GDC today, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime revealed some rather surprising details about the upcoming Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console.
Due for release via an update in late May, the Virtual Console will not only play host to a selection of Game Boy and Game Boy Colour classics, but also titles from the old Sega Game Gear and TurboGraphx-16 handhelds.
No specific games were mentioned, but we can definitely think of a few we'd like to see. Sonic Chaos, anyone?
Fils-Aime also revealed that the DSiWare service will be arriving at the same time, along with the ability to transfer your old games from your DSi to your 3DS.
The May update will also see the inclusion of the web browser and the Nintendo eShop.
