Capcom, Konami and Tecmo Koei to show off games at 3DS event
Japanese giants headed for Amsterdam
Tomorrow at 2pm (GMT), Nintendo will be holding a special event in Amsterdam to show off its much-anticipated 3DS handheld.
If you’ve had your head glued to a smartphone for the past year, the 3DS will be the first proper 3D portable device and the successor to the massively successful DS. It’s due to be launched in Japan on 26th February.
It’s now been confirmed which friends Ninty will be inviting to the European event to show off their software. Capcom, Konami and Tecmo-Koei will all be there to show off their first titles for the unique device.
We also know which games they’ll have to show. Capcom will have the impossibly slick Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition on display, as well as Resident Evil. Yoshinori Ono and Masahiro Kawada will be on hand to flaunt their respective games.
Konami will also be showing up to show off a couple of its staple big-hitters - Pro Evolution Soccer and Dead or Alive: Dimensions.
No idea what Tecmo-Koei will have to show, but it might just involve agile men hitting people with pointy sticks. Just a guess.
[UPDATE: Of course, as our eagle-eyed commenter pointed out, it'll be Tecmo Koei showing off Dead or Alive.]
Naturally, we’ll be covering the Amsterdam event with a live blog, so tune in nearer the time.
