The zany sounding Doodle Lab101 has been released on the iPhone by developer Fun Tribe.

A physics puzzler, Doodle Lab101 is set in a school laboratory, under the watchful eye of the sinister looking Dr. Eyeball.

Top of the class

The premise is a bizarre yet intriguing one. Players use their fingers to draw lines on the screen, guiding a selection of multi-coloured elements into a beaker.

It's also possible to blend different coloured elements together to make new compounds. This is achieved by 'stirring' them with your finger.

There are multiple ways to complete each level, and you'll be graded by the doc on your performances.

At the time of release, there are a total of 70 levels to experiment with, and Fun Tribe has promised an update later this month which will include an additional 30 lessons.

Doodle Lab101 is available on the App Store now for £0.59, 99c or €0.79.

You can get some idea how it plays in the following video.
