Sony's PSP is the most returned gadget of the year, according to research and purchase return statistics from myvouchercodes.co.uk.

The site's findings show that 6.2 per cent of PSPs bought in 2010 by a sample group of 1,833 respondents were returned.

Two other Sony devices made the top ten returned gadgets of the year. The Sony Reader ebook was seventh, with 4.2 per cent of units returned. Sony netbooks made number ten, with 4 per cent returned.

41 per cent of all respondents claimed to have returned electronics over the last year. Of the respondents who admitted to buying a product based on 'hype' (17 per cent) 82 per cent said they'd made returns.
