The organisers behind AppCircus - an opportunity for developers to demonstrate their apps to a captive audience - have revealed it will roll out its 40 date tour over the course of the next four months.

The showcase allows studios to highlight their titles for free, with three minute spots in front of investors, rivals developers, potential customers and sections of the media up for grabs.

Titantic tour

Those behind the endeavour have taken steps to ensure each and every continent has more than one AppCircus inbound, with the 36 dates currently listed on the event's website including 23 stops in Europe – London's DroidCon and appearances at Mobile Monday in Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin all on board.

The open nature of the event means extra dates are likely to be added to the line up on request, with those looking to bring the tour to their city advised to contact organisers via the official AppCircus website.

"The AppCircus is looking forward to a year of travelling to all major cities from all the corners of the planet with an interest in enabling app innovation," the organisers state on the event's website.

"If you have an app you would like to submit to consideration, visit the AppCircus website and chose from the open AppCircuses. A reputable jury will evaluate your app submission and decide if it will be presenting at that event."

Barcelona or bust

As an added bonus, apps that make the grade will automatically receive a nomination to present at the Mobile Premier Awards in Barcelona, set to take place during Mobile World Congress 2011.

Those looking to snap up a place at one of the dates need to register their app at AppCircus.com, with only one spot available per app.
