Sony Ericsson’s new rough and ready handsets leaked, codenamed Sunny and Susan
Sunny and Susan are tougher than they sound
Images of two of Sony Ericsson’s new handsets have been leaked onto the net with both phones subscribing to the 'rough and tumble' school of mobile design.
Codenamed Sunny and Susan - expect those names to change before launch - the two handsets will be waterproof and capable of taking their fair share of hard knocks.
They’ll also sport 5 megapixel snappers with LED flash, but they’re not thought to be part of Sony Ericsson’s camera-friendly Cybershot range.
Little else is known, but looking at the leaked images it’s clear that one is a traditional candybar design (which calls to mind the classic lines of the K700) while the other is a slider.
How well the latter will function when you consider its rugged credentials (water and dirt play havoc with sliding parts) remains to be seen, but in the meantime there’s little else to do but gaze at the photos and picture these shiny new phones falling into a pint of beer with a satisfying plop.
