Mostly mobile adaptations, but perhaps that's no bad thing

I-play Is forging ahead with it iPhone strategy, and has revealed a diverse line up of new titles coming to the App Store.

Snooker star Steve Davis is on board to help push the UK version of Pool Star (the US version has apparently conscripted pro shooter Earl Strickland, whoever that is).

It would seem that Pool Star is already available in the US, and will be getting a multiplayer update when the iPhone is 3.0 software is released (along with a price increase, so grab it now if this is a game you're likely to want).

If the felt and balls aren't your thing, you'll be glad to hear that I-play's massively popular puzzle game Jewel Quest Deluxe is also coming to the iPhone. This is a follow up to Jewel Quest 2, and adds in boss battles and new table layouts, along with the possibility of multiplayer in the future (again, once the 3.0 software is rolled out).

Dream Day Wedding is another I-play mobile stalwart, and the seek-and-find gameplay has received massive graphical overhaul as you hunt around the ballroom, spa and other wedding-based locations looking for gifts and goodies.

Topping off the pack is a rather obscure port of the Joe Cartoon game called Blend the Boss. By the sounds of things, this really isn't a cryptic title, though one interesting feature is the facility to put a picture of your own boss (or whoever is the object of your current conniptions) into the game.

Spanner Spencer
Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
