Raise the banners, sound the trumpets, fire the canons and jump for joy, we have finally got on board the DS demo wagon! In what will now be a regular component of the Friday Freebie, we are going to be keeping an eye on what the Wii's Nintendo channel has to offer in terms of demo content for the DS.

So with plenty to catch up on, given our late start, the list of demos currently available for the DS via the European Nintendo Channel on the Wii is as follows:

Iron Man
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
Tetris DS
Big Brain Academy
Brain Training
42 All-Time Classics
Mario Kart DS
Picross DS
Maths Training
Sight Training

Given the age of some of those titles, something tells us that we aren't going to have such plentiful bounty to report on in the following weeks, but at least there will be a reasonably steady stream of DS content coming our way from now on.

Moving on from that momentous occasion, the PSP (which is sulking having been relegated to the official position of 'second fiddle' in the Friday Freebie this week) has some unique audio delights to offer. Though DJ Max Fever probably won't mean much to most of you, having not been pencilled in for a Euro release yet (though it is releasing Stateside so there's hope), there's no denying that whatever country the game is releasing in, it's home to some pretty fantastic music.

How do we know this? Because the Korean site for the game has a series of audio clips for the game which you can download and listen to at your leisure. All you need to do is right click on the blue links under each picture on the site and select 'Save Link As' and the songs will be saved on your PC/Mac hard drive.

As for mobile, well, we're falling back on the ever faithful App Store to ensure that iPhone users don't feel like we're simply throwing you to the wolves. It's chocablock already on there and without adequate guidance there is a very real chance you might download iPint expecting more than something that will entertain you for exactly ten seconds.

So, keeping on the straight and narrow, this week our hearty recommendations go out to Tris, Tilt Snake and Tap Tap Revenge (this week's Friday Freebie is brought to you by the letter 'T').

That's all you're getting for now folks so make the most of it as there's another seven days to wait until the next serving of costless gaming sweetmeats with all the trimmings. Then again, we do have the wonderful Freebie Archive and our Demos section to keep the most rabidly hungry freebie seekers contented until then.

Enjoy and don't forget to click 'Track It!' to catch forthcoming editions.
