2188 Space Wars launches
Ozura's latest shoot-'em-'up is set way in the future
By the year 2188, we'll have mutated into a race of giant lizards who'll be able to fly, stop traffic with our pendulous tongues, and will all have spaceships parked out the back of our domo-pods.
And Westlife will still be number one.
Sadly, that's not the scenario in Ozura's new game 2188 Space Wars. It's chosen to focus on, well, the space wars side of things. Which means an action-packed shoot'em up that owes more than a debt to Star Wars in its plotline. (A pilot called Lance Walker trying to overthrow an evil Emperor? Tsk.)
The game will offer a huge arsenal of weaponry to use over the five levels, and also an innovative connected feature too, enabling you to upload your high scores.
Ozura is promising 'fabulous prizes' if you top the charts, although there's no details on what those prizes might be. Perhaps lizards?
Anyway, 2188 Space Wars is out to buy this month on a portal (not so) far, far away.
