Arena Breakout is hosting closed beta tests in the Oceania region later this month

In 2021, Tencent Games revealed a new FPS for mobile called Arena Breakout. Now, a year later, the game is opening the gates for a closed beta test. As of now, the beta will be limited to Android in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. It is set to launch later this month and more countries should get added along the way.

Arena Breakout seems to have drawn inspiration from Escape From Tarkov as it features a thrilling competitive gameplay experience. With realistic and immersive graphics, players will drop into the unforgiving open world called the Dark Zone, where players can either join the Task Force or become a rogue agent.

Getting hurt won’t just lower players’ HP, it also matters what you got hit by. The game features an extremely intricate health system with over ten different wound types that have their own treatment methods. The world is as brutal as it is real, and only the most formidable fighter will be able to take all the riches.

Speaking of winning, this isn’t your average battle royale where all players need to do is eliminate everyone else. Arena Breakout’s goal is to look for supplies and successfully escape. There is freedom of choice as players can be sneaky and deceive their enemies, or they can go all guns blazing with a full-on assault.

Through an open market system, players will be able to gather powerful weapons, equipment, and supplies that can also be traded. The game also features an Ultimate Gunsmithing System that grants access to an immense level of customization with over 700 parts and 10 modification slots to create a personalised weapon.
