Out at midnight: Drag items and traps with you through iOS roguelike Amber Halls

Axaxaxas Games's roguelike-meets-Sokoban puzzler Amber Halls has just gone live in New Zealand, meaning it'll be available in the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight.

Yesterday, I took a brief look at Amber Halls and came away satisfied.

It fits snugly alongside 868-HACK and Hoplite in the 'Challenging iOS Games' category. Your aim here is to avoid or attack enemies while collecting as many gems as possible in each procedurally generated room.

What distinguishes Amber Halls from all the others, though, is the fact you can drag items and traps with you through its rooms. You can even create blockades between you and enemies.

Amber Halls will be available from the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight, priced 69p / 99c.
