Today, developer 1TON Games has announced the release of its world puzzler Addagrams for iOS and Android. Unlike most entries in the genre, Addagrams will contain multiple solutions to the conundrums it puts forward, allowing you more freedom than other puzzlers offer.

It has multiple modes, but regardless of the one you choose to play, the aim is the same – make two words using the available tiles. Once you've done that, you'll progress to the next round, when a new letter gets added. Now you'll need to create two new words. You can't reuse the ones you played in the previous round.

You get one point for every tile used, plus a bonus point for using all of them. You don't have to if your goal is simply to beat every round. However, if you want the satisfaction of earning the maximum 99 points, you will have to put your vocabulary skills to the test. There are multiple ways to tweak the difficulty alongside hints to assist if you get stuck on one round.

Discussing the concept behind Addagrams, Noah Rosenfield, CEO and Founder of 1TON Games, said: “With thousands of possible arrangements in every game, every puzzle is just as expressive for each player.”

“Addagrams is the realisation of my vision to freshen up a stale genre that typically offers only one right answer, chosen – by them – for you. I wanted a puzzle that encouraged players to blaze their own trail, be themselves, and still cross the same finish line, just in their own way. I can’t wait to finally share a fresh, personal, and creative take on a classic puzzle game.”

Addagrams is available now on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can download it for your preferred platform using the links below.
