Abyssdia adds Fate in latest update alongside Abyss Invader Season Three

A new SSR Vanguard arrives

Abyssdia adds Fate in latest update alongside Abyss Invader Season Three
  • Fate joins as a ranged physical SSR Vanguard via a limited Pickup Event
  • Abyss Invader Season 3 introduces Uriel with a physical damage mechanic
  • QoL updates and login rewards improve overall progression flow

Abyssdia has been out for just over a month - already on its third Abyss Invader season, already rolling out a new SSR Vanguard, already keeping the content calendar moving at the pace these adventures tend to demand. The latest update brings Fate to the roster, a ranged physical damage dealer who slots in very neatly alongside everything else arriving this week.

Fate scales hard on attack power and leans into consistent, high-output damage rather than anything flashy. It's a familiar role, but one that tends to hold up well depending on how encounters are structured. And as it turns out, the new boss has been structured very much with her in mind. She's available through a limited-time Pickup Event with boosted drop rates running until April 22nd.

Alongside that, a story event called No! But Fine! puts her front and centre during the Verania Festival, following her as a wandering fortune teller navigating unexpected events and a growing friendship with Rin. The event loop runs the usual course – clear quests, collect currency, trade it in for rewards like Premium Tickets, Stamina Potions, and Vanguard Gift Boxes.

Where the update gets more interesting is Abyss Invader Season 3. The new boss, Uriel, is a prototype android that's broken free from imperial control, and it's built around a resistance mechanic that gradually opens up the more you hit it with physical damage. Which, conveniently, is exactly where Fate excels.

The entry resource cap has also been bumped from three to five this season, meaning more attempts per session. So, if you're weighing up whether she's worth pulling, our Abyssdia tier list is the place to check once the dust settles.

A handful of QoL improvements round things out. Tutorial battles can now be skipped, a new Next Stage shortcut speeds up post-battle flow, and the lobby UI does a better job of surfacing active events at a glance. Nothing dramatic, but all useful over time.

There's also a 7-day login event running until April 15th, giving you freebies just for showing up.

And if that wasn’t enough, you can get yourself more goodies by redeeming these Abyssdia codes!
