99 Bricks Wizard Academy is part Tetris, part magical duel, and part Jenga, and it's out right now for iPad and iPhone.

Tetrominoes tumble down the screen and it's up to you to knit them together into a massive tower.

As well as balancing blocks you need to watch out for other wizards who are jealous about the size of your skyscraper and will try to ruin your plans.

The higher your tower climbs the more points you'll score, and you'll gain your own magical powers to make sure the pile of blocks stays up longer than the laws of physics should allow it to.

High tower

The game has a simple cartoon look, and the various wizards that get disgruntled at your success all look suitably magical.

99 Bricks Wizard Academy is out on the App Store right now and it'll set you back £1.99 / $2.99 to give it a go.

If you're unsure, check out our hands-on preview to see what we thought of an earlier build of the game, before it became a premium app.
