Ever wondered how Santa makes it around the world so fast? Well, you might think magic, but if you do you're clearly misguided. Obviously, he evades missiles in space and uses the gravitational slingshot of nearby planets to reach the surface of Earth in record time. Or at least that's how 2 Minutes in Space interprets it.
This space-bound survival game has released a festive new update that sees you playing as the rocket sledge-riding Bad Santa as he dodges missiles and other hazards in his journey back to Earth. It's not just the spaceship getting a makeover either as Santa will have to evade all kinds of holiday-themed hazards in his quest to deliver presents (and coal) on time.
For those unfamiliar with 2 Minutes in Space, this bullet-hell survival sees you, well, trying to survive two minutes in space. Dodging asteroids, missiles and other hazards in the role of an astral pilot, it's all about manoeuvring. With 13 different spaceships to play as (not including Santa), there's plenty of variety there too. But hurry because the new update is only available from December 7th to January 10th!
Here I thought that Blood Strike's new Zombie Royale mode was perhaps the least fitting for the holiday season. Now here comes Bad Santa with a whole host of explosive high-speed evasive maneuvers, courtesy of Saint Nick himself. Still, I can't think of a more hilariously fitting experience for the holidays than trying to save the jolly red man himself.
