It's Friday, and you know what that means! Party time! Well, for some of us at least. But if you're over or nearing the age of 30, it means sitting back, relaxing and prepping for next week. So if you need to lie back and relax, why not take people's lives into your hands as a dispatch operator, as 112 Operator is up for free on the Epic Games Store!

There's not much more detail beyond that needed. 112 Operator offers the excitement of being a dispatcher working in the emergency services. Everything from dealing with crank callers to sending out firefighters and police.

Don't get it twisted, though, because the job is very demanding. And changing time, weather, traffic and other factors can affect what events happen. There might even be a terrorist attack, gang war or wildfire brewing, and it's up to you to coordinate the response!

As far as Epic Games' free releases go, 112 Operator is an excellent example of why the programme can be very good for players. It's a hard sell, being a despatch operator, but by offering it for free, those of you who're cynical about whether it's for you can instead simply jump in and find out whether you should (or really shouldn't) have people's lives in your hands.
