Astraware rebuilds Zuma for Windows Mobile
More ball popping
Journalists are often criticised for focusing on things that haven't happened yet, so let's take a step back to consider that while we're pretty excited about the launch of Microsoft's Windows 7 Phone (due winter 2010), some developers are still supporting its current tech.
Notably there's Astraware, which has released a new from the ground up version of PopCap's ball-pinging match-3 game Zuma for Windows Mobile.
The version works for phones running Windows Mobile 5 and later operating systems.
Little screen, big screen
The touchscreen game supports resolutions from 240 x 240 pixels up to 800 x 480 pixels, although the developer warns that if you have a version of the game already installed, you'll have to uninstall it to get this version to work. This means you won't be able to keep any existing save games.
Still, the shiny bright new version comes with Adventure and Gauntlet modes and over 20 temples to ping through.
Zuma for Windows Mobile - also available for Palm OS and Pocket PC - is out now, priced $9.99. [link]
