You have 60 seconds to help a cat knock out a cyclops in match-3 iOS puzzler ZEZ

iOS puzzle game ZEZ spices up its basic match-3 gameplay by adding a cat with a rocket glove, a cyclops, and a 60-second time limit.

Yes, it's a peculiar little game.

Each match you play starts off with hitting an oscillating power bar, which determines how far your cat will be launched from a boxing ring, and into the air.

Once in the air, you're given 60 seconds to match robotic starfish, octopus, and angler fish in a grid with a series of taps. Every time you get match three or four, your score is boosted, and the cat will be launched to a new height.

No matter what height you reach, once those 60 seconds are up, the cat will plunge back towards the boxing ring below. On the way down you can press a button to increase the force with which the cat smacks the cyclops on the head with.

Your score is then translated into a progression bar, which slowly unlocks new types of glove for better height, as well as means of gaining extra points. The rising, falling, and upgrades system reminds me of Knightmare Tower.
