Yu-Gi-Oh! GX returns to PSP

Tag Force 3 comes with not 1,000, not 2,000, but 3,500 cards

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX returns to PSP

We've had Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2. Can you guess then what Konami has just announced is next for the series? This is where I'd like to say Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force Horse Adventures in Space, but alas it's just Tag Force 3.

What a disappointment, eh?

It won't be a disappointment for fans of the series, however, who should be pleased to hear this latest game will be the most feature-packed yet. Tag Force 3 comes with new characters, evolving scenarios and a whopping 3,500 cards (taken from the most recent Trading Card Game packs) to be collected and used.

Taking place in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TV series universe, Tag Force 3 includes characters from the third and fourth series of the show, and charges players with the task of assembling the ultimate card deck with which to defeat other characters and players with in duels.

Every aspect of the game has been enhanced since the previous instalment, from the AI routines which adapt to the way the game is flowing, to a new Gallery feature which provides a visual record of defeated monsters and key events. The duelling interface too has been enhanced to make games simpler, faster and easier to manage.

The cards included offer a wide range of traps, monsters and spells and players will also be able to use the PSP's online capabilities to download new content, including new decks or individual cards.

Along with the game announcement, Konami has released first screenshots of the game (above). If you like what you see there's not too long to wait for it. Tag Force 3 will be released across Europe in November 2008.
