Wuthering Waves teases two new characters coming in version 2.6 with Iuno and Augusta

With Wuthering Waves version 2.6 set to release later this month, speculation is rife about what'll be included. But at least where characters are concerned, we now have a pretty good idea, as the folks at Kuro Games have unveiled two new characters joining the lineup, with Augsta and Iuno.
Pitched as being central to the storyline you'll experience in version 2.6, both sport a very Roman-esque look that wouldn't be out of place in a Greek tragedy. While Augusta swings an enormous greatsword, Iuno meanwhile sports a flying chakram-esque weapon she can use to fly around the battlefield.
At the moment, it's really only a demonstration of their powers and their appearance that we know of, and it's a certified mystery how they'll work their way into the ongoing plot of Wuthering Waves. But if the exciting, flashy nature of their abilities is any indication, they'll have quite a big role to play.

Naturally, I'll bet some of you are already picking apart the moves of Iuno and Augusta, wondering how they'll rank on our Wuthering Waves' tier list to figure out whether or not they'll be viable for more challenging gameplay.It's probably why Iuno and Augusta are pitched as being crucial for the upcoming storyline. Although you'd be a fool to miss out on them, considering the interesting new mechanics introduced by recent character additions in Unfading Melody of Life, with its musically inspired abilities to change the world around players.
In the meantime, you may find yourself twiddling your thumbs waiting for the arrival of version 2.6 of Wuthering Waves. So if you need something to occupy your time, there's nothing more likely to eat it up than a good-old-fashioned adventure game. And wouldn't you know it? Broken Sword: Reforged has just hit (digital) shelves!
