Price of Scrabble-'em-up slashed
Newtoy Inc has slashed the price of Scrabble-by-email favourite, Words with Friends.
In the game, you connect up with Facebook, Twitter, or email friends to do vocabulary battle at your own pace. Players place tiles to make words and then, through the magic of servers, the internet, and satellites up in space, your opponent receives a push notification to play the next word.
On iPhone, you can choose between a free, ad-supported version or pay to play without adverts. On iPad, only a premium ad-free version is available.
The sale price sees Words with Friends and Words with Friends HD (the iPad edition) going for £1.19 or $1.99 each. Get in soon because the price will go back to normal next week.
