Words With Friends 2 warms up the holidays with six days of giveaways and the chance to score IRL merch on social media
Words With Friends 2 is offering players fun ways to connect with their family and friends during the holidays with its latest Christmas lineup of events. As part of Zynga's December celebrations across its impressive roster of games, the iconic mobile title is bringing on the holiday cheer from December 20th to 26th.
In particular, Words With Friends 2 is adding in-game events, limited tile styles and giveaways this season. A limited Holiday Stocking Bundle is up for grabs, while the 6 Days of Giveaways event rewards players with in-game goodies every day up to Christmas day. Prizes include coins, tile paints and powerups.
The celebrations are also spilling over onto real life, as simply following the game's official social media channels gives players the chance to win a special merchandise box filled with IRL swag and exclusive goodies.
“The holiday season is a time to celebrate our players as they connect with friends and family,” says Bernard Kim, Zynga’s President of Publishing. “We aim to bring smiles to our players with events ranging from extreme sports to giveaways and limited-time characters, and we’re excited to spend the holiday season with our community around the world.”
