LoL: Wild Rift Vayne Champion Guide: Best build, items, and everything you need to know

Vayne is the next champion we've got lined up, and while she is a rather simple champion, it's hard to master her kit and play her like a pro unless you dedicate a lot of time to playing her and learning her damage output. The Night Hunter (Vayne) is the ideal anti-tank marksman since she is able to melt through the tankiest units in the game if she has the right items.

Even if she is behind, a good Vayne will find a way to snowball back and turn the game in her favour in the long run. That means playing against a Vayne who knows what they're doing can seem simple, but the smallest mistake can cost you the game.

Like with most powerful late-game scaling champions, Vayne is super weak in the early game. Her range is low, she has no mobility, and is extremely prone to dives/ganks. However, if she gets ahead, she will be able to dive towers and melt through any enemy in a maximum of six auto attacks.

In this League of Legends: Wild Rift Vayne guide you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from her skills and how to allocate them, to her build, skill combo, and runes. This is what you will find in the Vayne guide below:

Wild Rift Vayne skills

League of Legends: Wild Rift Vayne's skills:

Night Hunter (Passive)

Vayne ruthlessly hunts evil-doers, gaining 30 Move Speed when moving toward nearby enemy champions.

Tumble (Skill 1)

Vayne tumbles, manoeuvring to carefully place her next shot. Her next attack deals bonus damage.

Silver Bolts (Skill 2)

Vayne tips her bolts with a rare metal, toxic to evil things. The third consecutive attack or ability against the same target deals a percentage of the target's max health as bonus true damage. Activating this ability gives Vayne bonus Attack Speed and she heals for some of Silver Bolts' damage.

Condemn (Skill 3)

Vayne draws a heavy crossbow from her back, and fires a huge bolt at her target, knocking them back and dealing damage. If they collide with terrain, they are impaled, dealing bonus damage and stunning them.

Final Hour (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Readying herself for an epic confrontation, Vayne gains increased Attack Damage, Invisibility during Tumble, and more bonus Movement Speed from Night Hunter. When an enemy champion damaged by Vayne dies within a few seconds, Final Hour's duration is extended.

How to combo as Vayne:

Vayne is a straightforward champion who doesn't have any specific "combos", but the sequence in which her skills are used as well as her positioning are the most important parts of her kit. Use these tips to help you play Vayne better:

- Use Skill 1 to dodge enemy skills

If you see an incoming Blitzcrank hook or any other dangerous skill, use Skill 1 to tumble away from the hitbox. It's also a great skill to use when you are trying to chase an opponent.

- Always Condemn (Skill 3) your enemies against terrain for a guaranteed stun

Make sure you position yourself well, even Tumble (Skill 1) in the direction you want to be, before casting Skill 3 and condemning an enemy against the wall.

- If an enemy is trying to run towards you, use Skill 3 and then Skill 1 away from them to gain distance

That will most likely discourage anyone trying to gank you.

In what order to level up the skills?

Vayne's kit first revolves around her auto attacks, and secondly around her mobility skills, so you want to make sure that Skill 2 is a priority.

Level 1: Skill 1
Level 2: Skill 2
Level 3: Skill 3
Level 4: Skill 2
Level 5: Skill 4
Level 6: Skill 2

Keep leveling Skill 2 until it's maxed, then focus on Skill 1, and lastly Skill 3. Whenever you can, add a point in Skill 4 (ultimate).

The best summoner spells for Vayne:

Heal: Restores 80-360 Health and grants 30% bonus Movement Speed for 1 second to you and the most wounded nearby ally champion. Healing is halved for champions recently affected by Heal

Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or towards the aimed direction.

The best runes for Vayne:

The best items for Vayne:

Best build for Vayne

On Vayne you want any type of Attack Speed items since her kit revolves around auto-attacks. Depending on the situation, you want to go for either something a little tankier like Wit's End, which can swap out Infinity Edge or Phantom Dancer (or even Guardian Angel) if you think you don't lack the damage.

Boots

Gluttonous Quicksilver are the boots you want on her because she has no means of escaping enemy crowd controls.
