LoL: Wild Rift Lulu Champion Guide: Best build, items, and everything you need to know
Updated: July 27, 2021

In this League of Legends: Wild Rift Lulu guide you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from her skills and how to allocate them to her build, skill combo, and runes. Here is what you will find in the Lulu guide below:

Lulu, the Fae Sorceress, is our next champion on our Wild Rift hero guide list. She's a powerful support champion, and no matter what elo you are in, she's always a wise choice. Lulu is a fun-to-play support, because every time an opponent charges onto your laner/team, she can polymorph them, making them unable to cast or do anything.

As Lulu, you will have the ability to carry team fights by simply buffing your allies and making them a lot more powerful. She's not a very easy-to-play champion, but once you get a grasp of how she actually works, I am sure she will be your go-to pick in most games.

League of Legends: Wild Rift Lulu skills

Pix, Faerie Companion (Passive)

Pix fires magical bolts of energy whenever the champion he's following attacks another enemy unit. These bolts are homing, but can be intercepted by other units.

Glitterlance (Skill 1)

Pix and Lulu each fire a bolt of magical energy that heavily slows all enemies it hits. An enemy can only be damaged by one bolt.

Whimsy (Skill 2)

If cast on an ally, grants them Attack Speed and Movement Speed for a short time. If cast on an enemy, turns them into an adorable critter that can't attack or cast spells.

Help, Pix! (Skill 3)

If cast on an ally, commands Pix to jump to an ally and shield them. He then follows them and aids their attacks. If cast on an enemy, commands Pix to jump to an enemy and damage them. He then follows them and grants you vision of that enemy.

Wild Growth (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Lulu enlarges an ally, knocking nearby enemies into the air and granting the ally a large amount of bonus health. For the next few seconds, that ally gains an aura that slows nearby enemies.

How to combo as Lulu:

There are no specific combos that you need to pull off in order to make her viable since she's a support and every single skill depends on the situation. However, if you want to poke your opponents or slow them, there are a few combos you could pull off based on Pix (and Pix's location).

- Skill 3 -> (Auto-attack - optional) -> Skill 1

This combo will send your Skill 1 straight on the opponent for additional damage and slow, and you could also add an additional auto-attack for some harassment during the laning phase.

- Skill 2 -> Skill 3 -> Auto-attack -> Skill 1

With this combo you will polymorph the enemies, then deal more damage with Skill 3 followed up by an auto-attack and Skill 1 for slowing them.

Cast Skill 3 on allies

When you cast your Skill 3 on allies, you can not only shield them but also send Pix to their location which you can use then in combo with Skill 1 to slow them or deal damage.

- Skill 2 -> Skill 1 -> Flash -> Skill 4 (Ultimate) -> Auto-attack -> Auto-attack -> Skill 3 -> Auto-attack -> Auto-attack -> Skill 1

I know, I know, this is a very difficult combo to pull off. However, this combo will take advantage of every single one of her kit's abilities and perks.

Basically, you will use your ranged abilities to crowd-control the opponent, making them unable to do anything. Then, you will follow up with Flash to engage on them and quickly cast the ultimate on their location to knock them up. Lastly, you will follow with more auto-attacks and Skill 1 to deal additional damage.

In what order to level up the skills?

Lulu's skills are pretty straightforward. As a support, you almost never want to max out your Skill 1 first, since that won't add too much value. Instead, you want to max out Skill 3 first, then Skill 2 or Skill 1 depending on the situation.

Level 1: Skill 3
Level 2: Skill 2
Level 3: Skill 1
Level 4: Skill 3
Level 5: Skill 4
Level 6: Skill 3
Level 7: Skill 3

Keep leveling Skill 3 until it's maxed, then focus on Skill 1, and lastly on Skill 2. Of course, whenever you can, you want to add 1 point into your Skill 4 (ultimate).

The best summoner spells

Exhaust: Exhausts the target enemy champion, reducing their movement speed by 20% and their damage dealt by 40% for 2.5 seconds.

Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or towards the aimed direction.

Additionally, you could replace Zeke's Convergence with Awakened Soulstealer if you are ahead and want more ultimate cooldown, but Zeke's is a generally good choice.

Boots Ionian Shadows are perfect for most situations since they offer more crowd control. Ionian Redemption is another good choice that lets you heal allies, so pick the best one depending on the situation.
