During the many years that I've been playing League of Legends, I've seen so many Top Laners (Baron laners) complaining about a certain lane opponent. Yes, I'm talking about Kennen, The Heart of The Tempest. The little ninja can be a real pain to deal with, but at the same time a lot of fun if you decide to pick him up for your games.

And the kind of fun I'm talking about here is having an ultimate that single-handedly can change the tides of a teamfight and potentially win you the entire game, spamming abilities without having to worry about mana, and being a ranged champion on top of all that. Mark of the Storm (Passive)

Kennen stuns enemies he hits 3 times with his abilities.

Thundering Shuriken (Skill 1)

Kennen throws a fast-moving shuriken towards a location, causing damage and adding a Mark of the Storm to any opponent that it hits.

Electrical Surge (Skill 2)

Kennen passively deals extra damage and adds a Mark of the Storm to his target every few attacks, and he can activate this ability to damage and add another Mark of the Storm to targets who are already marked.

Lightning Rush (Skill 3)

Kennen morphs into a lightning form, enabling him to pass through units and apply a Mark of the Storm. Kennen gains movement speed when entering this form, and attack speed when leaving it.

Slicing Maelstrom (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Kennen summons a storm that strikes at nearby enemy champions for magical damage.

How to combo as Kennen in Wild Rift

There are many ways that you can combo Kennen's skills. His passive allows for a wide variety of combos, all depending on the situation. Just keep in mind that every third ability will stun the target. 

Even though Kennen has no mana to worry about, he still uses energy to cast his abilities. When you proc Kennen's passive it refunds 25 energy and whenever you damage an enemy with Skill 3 you restore 40 energy. Keep in mind his Max Energy is 200.

- Skill 1 -> Skill 2 -> Skill 3

During the laning phase whenever you land your Thundering Shuriken (Skill 1) you want to follow up with Skill 2 for extra damage. If the target is low on health, use your Skill 3 to stun them and go for the kill!

- Skill 4 (ultimate) -> Skill 2

In team fights, you want to combo your Ultimate with Skill 2 in order to stun everyone and deal huge amounts of damage. 

- Flash -> Skill 4 (ultimate) -> Skill 2 -> Stasis (Zhonya's) -> Skill 3 

Try to save your Flash to combo it with your Ultimate for a surprise attack. For instance, this is a great way to get into any teamfight from over the wall, especially in the Baron pit when opponents are doing Baron. To finish things off, you want to use Skill 3 to escape.

- Something to help you with Kennen's wave clear: Skill 3 -> Skill 2

Use Skill 3 to go through the minion wave and then Skill 2 to damage every single one of them.

In what order to level up the skills?

On Kennen, the best thing you could do is max out your Skill 1 first, then Skill 2, and finally Skill 3.

Level 1: Skill 1
Level 2: Skill 3
Level 3: Skill 2
Level 4: Skill 1
Level 5: Skill 4
Level 6: Skill 1
Level 7: Skill 1

Keep leveling Skill 1 until it's maxed, then focus on Skill 2, and lastly on Skill 3. Of course, whenever you can, you want to add 1 point into your Skill 4 (ultimate).

The best summoner spells

Ignite: Ignites target enemy champion, dealing 60-410 true damage (based on level) over 5 seconds and inflicting them with Grievous Wounds. (Grievous Wounds reduces healing effects by 50%).

Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or towards the aimed direction.

Boots Ionian Stasis is your go-to choice, since Kennen will always try to all-in the opponents, and the Stasis will provide more survivability.  Ionian Protobelt is another decent option since he can always benefit from a free dash.
