Windows Mobile devices get special love from Enigma Games

The phrase 'Windows Mobile' puts a shiver down our backs –inevitable after 20-odd years exposure to Microsoft's ubiquitous and infuriating brand. But to be fair, smartphones running Windows Mobile don't seem to crash just because you've said a few things to your mum that it doesn't understand, or because it's a Tuesday, or whatever else makes our office PC fall over more easily than the England cricket team's wickets.

Smartphone-only games like Warriors are another reason to persist with Windows Mobile. The developer, Enigma Games, promises there's more depth and polish in this new conversion of its PC and mobile strategy game (a new game to us – please do let us know in the comments below if you've played it).

As best we can tell, Warriors is a turn-based strategy-based combat game set in the land of Bors (hmm, isn't that where our postman hails from?) You build a four-man team from a range of available characters, all with their own strengths and weaknesses.
