Warframe’s Nightwave gets free 1999 rewards and a Hex adventure
Someone gave the radio a Volt
- Free 1999 rewards
- Permanent Hex adventure
- New cosmetics and music
Warframe’s Nightwave has always treated a reward track like a radio station. Now Amir has hacked the broadcast and filled it with free 1999-themed cosmetics, music and a tabletop detour.
Nightwave Mix: Amir’s Shockwave is live today as a free, limited-time Warframe: 1999 takeover of the shooter’s rewards track across all platforms. Amir Beckett, better known as Volt, is on the air with new voice lines from Kevin Afghani, plus cosmetics earned through normal play.
Complete daily, temporary weekly and permanent weekly objectives to move through the Nightwave tiers. This time around, the free rewards include the Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia Operator and Drifter outfit and the Globakk Syndana backpiece. Nightwave is available from the Orbiter’s Navigation console or radio scanner, should you fancy consulting the source of the problem directly.
The larger addition is Fables & Frontiers: Running Late, a permanent text adventure starring The Hex. You will need to have finished The Hex Quest, reached Rank Five with The Hex Syndicate and become Close with Amir before heading to the POM-2 terminal. From there, it is a six-day tabletop RPG-inspired trip through magic dice and enemies, led by Amir as a Fablemaster.

Amir’s game room, The Dominion of Höllvandeim, also opens in the Höllvania Mall social hub with fresh and returning cosmetics. On-lyne has a new track called Running Late, while two more Fables & Frontiers tracks are already on major streaming services.
The Warframe Market has Baruuk’s new Shaoshi Collection, and six TennoGen cosmetics have joined it. That covers skins for Kullervo and Harrow, an Operator mask, an Oraxia helmet and a pair of Signa headpieces. The radio takeover may end when the next Nightwave Mix begins. Amir’s tabletop diversion will stay behind, presumably still asking everyone to roll initiative.
Our Warframe codes have a few extra things to collect before the signal cuts out.
