War for the Seas is an open-world RPG that lets you become a fearsome pirate, available for pre-registration on iOS

After a successful launch on Android last year, NetEase’s open-world pirate adventure War for the Seas is officially coming to iOS. Currently, pre-registrations have opened on the App Store and the game will officially launch on February 14th. Players can fulfil their dreams of being a pirate and take their Jolly Ranger to America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, where they can find treasures, and earn riches.

In War for the Seas, players assume the role of a seafarer whose goal is to explore mysterious lands in search of riches, build a crew and participate in naval battles, romance gorgeous maidens, create a massive empire, and hunt other pirates. Using the in-game map, pirates can chart their courses to various serene ports and begin their conquest.

Adventurers must build an entire fleet of ships from the ground up. These will be used in real-time battles where players must evade enemy fire while also counter-attacking with cannonballs and charging into the other ship. A less violent route is becoming a merchant. With over 100 ports to visit, players can become the best trader pirate across the seven seas. Investing in your favourite ports can ultimately create humongous wealth. The ultimate dream is to create a Chamber of Commerce and lead a trade empire across the globe.

Pirates with a taste for combat and exploration can go on a journey throughout the world in search of treasure. War for the Seas recreates iconic locations like the Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehenge in 3D, which can be fully explored. The game is set during the Golden Age of Pirates where Anne Bonny and Blackbeard traversed the seas. The fates of nations depended on these ships and players will engage in carving out their own destiny with it.
