Even in the off-season, people are flocking to Italy to enjoy the beauty and history of cities like Rome and Venice. Since travel is not always easy, Naïve Studios has taken it upon themselves to bring the latter to you in Venice Bridges. You can experience their colorfully crafted 3D representation of the city on your select iOS device where you’ll be able to explore over 30 town districts across 3 charming worlds.

However, this exploration comes with a twist: The city has been separated with the canals getting wider and the bridges being removed. This is because an ominous group of Plague Doctors has invaded with their army of creatures to tear the place apart. Don't fret for hope exists in you taking on an important Venetian role: A Gondolier. This hero will rise among the chaos and use their skills to row throughout the disconnected city and undo the damage.

There are many secrets hidden across Venice requiring you to examine areas very carefully and interact with the different features. This also comes into play when dealing with the Plague Doctors by leading them to where you want them to go and setting traps to dispose of them.

The districts may be separated, but there's a way to put them back together. You need to retrieve the special church bells that have survived and then reach certain points where the districts can come together. By reaching these points, you have the power to restore the bridges of Venice and even reach a climactic encounter on the majestic Rialto Bridge. You're welcome to chase after the final fight or take your time rowing around the city.

If you're looking for a way more relaxed experience, just turn on Casual Mode. Go at your own pace to experience the Venice Bridges version of Venice and then jump back into the adventure when you feel like it. The game is waiting for you on the App Store for a one-off purchase of $3.99.
