VAST - Pocket Edition video review - "Bad controls make for a bad time"
VAST - Pocket Edition is a game inspired by console shooters. The thumbprints of Halo, Metroid, and Quake are all over the surface of this mobile sci-fi blaster.
Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, provided the developer has taken into account the very specific needs of touchscreen play, and the unique demands and expectations of the mobile marketplace.
Unfortunately, we don't think the folks behind VAST have succeeded in either of these challenges.
