Vampire Survivors finally launches its "Tides of the Foscari" DLC with 8 new characters, 13 weapons and more (plus a cool trailer)

The insanely popular "reverse bullet hell" game Vampire Survivors has launched a massive DLC on iOS and Android, letting fans of high-fantasy classics get their fill in "Tides of the Foscari". It's tropes galore as players can look forward to a whopping 8 new characters, 13 epic weapons, and a vast new stage to play around in. The DLC also adds 7 music tracks, as well as a smattering of little elements that make up a backstory for the whole thing.

In particular, Vampire Survivors' "Tides of the Foscari" DLC throws in a magic academy, a cursed lake, and a swordsman-mage-rogue trio to complete the high fantasy trope. There are 21 achievements to aim for, as well as new attack animations for Keitha and Maruto to discover. Additionally, the new "Seal" power-up lets you keep up to 10 items and weapons from popping up in a run. There's more to discover on the official patch notes if you're curious.

To be honest, the trailer for this DLC alone should be enough to convince you to give the new expansion a go. The animations and voice acting are just top-notch, so much so that I kind of wish poncle made a short film about this DLC too. The clip really has no business being this good.

If you're keen on joining in on all the fun of the latest DLC, you can do so by downloading Vampire Survivors on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. The DLC itself will set you back by only $1.99 a pop or your local equivalent.
