Foolish Mortal Studio's Kyle Barrett (of Blast Waves and Immortal Rogue fame) has officially launched Ultra Blade, the solo indie dev's latest pixel-art roguelike on iOS and Android. Players can look forward to hacking and slashing through hordes of relentless enemies as they unlock a wide variety of weapons and special upgrades to make each new run more exhilarating than the last.

In Ultra Blade, you have the freedom to tinker around with thousands of hero and class combinations to find the abilities that suit your playstyle best. No two runs are the same - plus, you'll simply have to drag to move and to auto-attack, then release to deal devastating heavy offensives against your mutating foes. They'll stop at nothing to bring you down though, so be sure to hone your swiping skills and to strategise how you want to build your champion.

The game also features an Endless Challenge Mode for the more hardcore players out there, as well as 12 unlockable heroes and hundreds of weapons across 5 core classes (Bow, Shield, Greatsword, Gun and Staff).

If you're eager to see if you've got what it takes to singe enemies with your flaming bow or unleash blizzards with your trusty shield, Ultra Blade is now available to download on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a premium title that costs $2.99 a pop. You can also follow the developer on Twitter for all the latest updates.
