The Apple Watch has only been out a few weeks so it's not surprising that it has a lot of firsts.

Trixium, a 3D tunnel shooter (albeit with no shooting), MIGHT be the first of its genre on that tiny screen. We don't know if that's true without scrolling the entire Apple Watch catalogue, but it seems likely.

You can get your first look at it in the video below. It looks pretty nifty, though there's no telling how well it will actually play on the Apple Watch, of course.

That said, it has been designed exclusively for the Apple Watch. In fact, its creator only makes games for the Apple Watch - it's already released 12 of them.

The idea is to memorize a pattern shown to you at the beginning of each level, and then recreate it. You do this by piloting your ship through the spinning orbs.

They patterns and the orbs only come in black or white so it's nothing too complex. And, by the looks of it, there are only nine positions you can move the ship to on the screen. So it should be pretty simple to play.

There's no date on when triXium will be available on the Apple Watch but we do know that it'll be "soon."
