Indie game developer Spear Soft has announced the official launch of Train's Run, the studio's online competitive racing game for both iOS and Android. The colourful title lets players race to the finish line with a particular focus on an "authentic racing experience on mobile" that's free to enjoy.

In particular, Train's Run lets players step into the shoes of an apprentice conductor as they go head-to-head in fast-paced races in Train-land. Players can expect to compete against two other Trainmen from across the globe in multiplayer mode, as well as put their own skills to the test in the solo mode. Trains can be customised with fun cosmetics as well using a variety of adorable decors.

The game also features a quirky narrative where Trainmen "living in a galaxy far, far away" race all day, every day to emulate the first-class train conductors they observed from the planet Earth. They'll have to navigate tricky terrain as well as avoid exploding mines and more to rank first among the rest and be the best Trainmen they can be.
