After first being announced at Anime Japan 2025 back in March, Tougen Anki: Crimson Inferno has officially been revealed by Com2uS, with a full showcase coming to Tokyo Game Show this September. The upcoming RPG adapts the world of Tougen Anki, a manga by Yura Urushibara that has over four million copies in circulation and is set to debut as an anime this July.
Crimson Inferno will reimagine the manga’s blood-fuelled battle between Oni and Momotaro's descendants in a cross-platform RPG coming to both mobile and PC. The story follows Shiki Ichinose as he discovers his Oni bloodline and enters a violent power struggle between two ancient clans, a setup that lends itself well to a character-driven RPG format.
Com2uS says it’s using immersive 3D graphics and direction to match the tone of the anime, aiming for a dynamic style that highlights the series’ dramatic action and intense cast.
