Total War: Medieval II's Kingdoms expansion is launching next week for iOS and Android
Feral Interactive and Creative Assembly have just announced that a new expansion is coming to their mobile strategy game, Total War: Medieval II. It will be launching on Android and iOS on November 10th. The update is made for history buffs because it brings more than four centuries' worth of stories from the past.
Total War: Medieval II’s base version will be massively upgraded by this expansion as it features four fresh new campaigns, each based on a particular sect of history. Players can get their hands on 400 years worth of content next week, with a single in-app purchase. Here’s a look at what to expect in the Kingdoms update:
Americas
In the first campaign, we focus on the technologically superior Spanish conquistadores who have just begun their bloody journey to take over the New World. Against them are a number of Meso-American civilizations including the Aztecs, Mayans, and four more, that believe in the strength of numbers. Will an overwhelming army of soldiers be able to send the Spanish back across the ocean?Britannia
The British Isles are up for grabs, but there are not two, but five countries fighting for the English throne. This five-way struggle is between England, who is desperately trying to save herself, while Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and Norway have kicked off their siege.Crusades
This one is a battle of the wits. Charismatic Leaders like Richard the Lionheart and Saladin have declared war on the Holy Land. Civilizations and religions are going to clash in this war, who will win?Teutonic
In the final campaign, we see the ruthless conquest of the Teutonic Order of the German Knights which are backed by the Holy Roman Empire. Christianity is coming for the Pagan people of the north and things are going to be brutal.Players will be able to enjoy all these ancient rivalries beginning November 10th, for $6.99 or your local equivalent.
